About Jones and Brewer Family Tree

My name is Pamela and I have been working on my Family Tree for quite some time now  and have learned some very interesting facts about my ancestors.  This site includes  my dad's (Owen Jr) mother and father (Owen Sr Brewer and Florrie Jones). Owen Sr dad's  family came from Telfair Co Ga / McRae Ga / Scotland Ga / Clarke Co Ga.  Florrie Jones  dad's family came from Gasdsen Co FL / Georgia and her mom's family came from Chipley  Fl / Washington Co FL.  There were alot of the Brewers and the Jones families who came  to Desoto County Arcadia FL area in the early 1900's and raised their families.  I  hope you enjoy the information that I have provided and will do my best to update  regularly.  If you see any errors or have any other information that can be added  please email me -

UPDATE ON APRIL 5, 2010
 I have been researching majorly these past couple of weeks and have gone back to 1490's.  it is so  interesting and the technology is wonderful.  A couple of interesting facts I have learned are I am  a decendent of Outlaw Jesse James - Dolly Madison - and Dr John Woodson who was killed by Indians  in 1644 in Virginia and the gun that was used by my 9 Great grandma is on display at the VA  Historical Society in a glass case.  WOW

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
